|Chamomile celebration in Kutaisi|
|Saturday, 06 May 2017 01:20|
This year we had the pleasure to enjoy the holiday of Kutaisi for three full days - from 2nd to 4th of May. Kutaisoba is otherwise known as the "Feast of chamomiles", so it is easy to guess that in those days the city practically drowned in flowers; a tradition originated in the early XXth century when local high school students sold chamomiles to help people suffering from tuberculosis.
Kutaisoba, or otherwise, Gwiriloba is still charitable to this day. The participants of the festival attended many interesting events such as photo exhibitions, lectures of the history of Kutaisi and concerts of national music and dance. We'd like to invite you to Kutaisi for the next holiday of the daisies, join us for the celebration!
