Kharagauli Local Museum

The museum houses various collections: Tomb objects from II-I Millennium B.C.: bronze buckles, axes, adornment; Numismatic collection: Cholchian tetri, Turkish coins, Georgian king Erekle II period coins, XIX-XX c.c. Russian cooper coins; Samples of craft, contemporary paintings (R. Sturua, L.Tsutskiridze, B. Shvelidze, N.Grigolia, T. Japaridze, S.Kenchadze), etchings by Z.Lezhava and sculptures (E.Amashukeli, T. Tabatadze, M.Kiknavelidze, M.Talakvadze); XIX-XX c.c. everyday life and ethnography materials (clothes, furniture, implements); Religious objects – old printed books, priest dresses, crosses, icons, crockery.

Village History Museum

The museum houses ethnographical collections of the 19th c.: Georgian furniture, everyday items made of copper, agricultural tools, rags, porcelain vessels, gramophone, and also photos and other materials from the beginning of the 20th c.

Working hours: 10.00 – 16.00, Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays)
